As one of the most competitive and followed football leagues in the world, this season promises excitement, rivalries, and high-level performances across 20 clubs.
2025–26 Premier League Teams
A total of 20 clubs will compete in the 2025–26 Premier League season – including 17 teams retained from the 2024–25 campaign, and 3 newly promoted clubs from the Championship.
The promoted teams are:
- Leeds United – returning after 2 years
- Burnley – returning after 1 year
- Sunderland – making a comeback after 8 years
These clubs replace:
All three relegated teams lasted only one season in the top flight before returning to the Championship.
